Maison Beliveau in the Snow!

Davey and I finally took another trip to Maison Beliveau last weekend to make sure we had the directions down and to take a few more pictures. We had our friends Elizabeth and Jeff (AKA Maid of Honor– I refuse to say “matron of honor”– and groomsman/cousin of the bride) with us and had a lot of fun showing them where we’ll be getting married!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! We got into the romantic spirit by going to look at wedding bands last Saturday. I had an easy time because there is a wedding band that goes with my engagement ring, but Davey is starting from scratch. He liked one made out of titanium (bonus: it would match all of his camping gear!), but I think Jeff freaked him out by telling him that there is no way to cut through titanium… so, if he jammed his finger or had an accident and couldn’t get his ring off… they would have to cut his finger off! Can anyone attest to this?? I feel like the Fink’s salesman left out a pretty big detail with that one. Davey liked the titanium one so much that he actually asked me if I would mind if he was missing that finger. He’s hard core.

Here is a picture of Elizabeth and Jeff, who are clearly SO excited to be at Maison Beliveau! Hopefully there won’t be as much snow on the ground in four months 🙂

Hello!

Davey and I are starting this blog in order to keep family and friends updated with information and details as we approach our June wedding! We are so excited to spend our special day with all of you! We were also inspired by another couple (thanks kbsquared!) to use this blog as a way to update all “interested parties” (i.e. family and friends looking for online distractions at work…) on what’s going on in our lives. Hopefully, we will keep it up after our wedding, too! We appreciate your patience, as this is my first blogging attempt… right now, I don’t know how half of the things on this page work, but hope to gradually learn 🙂

We are trying to survive this cold winter like the rest of you… warm dreams of a June honeymoon are crucial! Stay tuned for registry information, as well as some trivia about the bride, groom and bridal party!!
